We work with the DOE, and I’ll talk about that in a minute. From the point of view of testing, we have a five megawatt power tower where we’ve done testing on over 13 thermo-receivers over the years.
Most recently tested a falling particle receiver. We also have a solar furnace where we’re currently doing a lot of work in what’s called solar to Petro; it’s S2P. The idea being that you can produce a sin gas directly using a thermal process, and use that as a feed stock for creating a liquid fuel. The advantage here is this is in a batch process. It’s a continuous process and could potential be scaled to power tower capabilities.
There are a lot of things that could be done for UPVC Doors and Upvc windows. This is actually an IR and D project, internally funded by Sandia. We have an engine test facility where we test a number of different types of sterling engines.
